Serta has a Complete Quality Assurance program which staffs three Industrial Engineers that inspect every Serta factory unannounced. This assures that every Perfect Sleeper is built to the high standards that Serta customers are accustomed to.

Testing to Exceed Hospitality Standards

We mitigate your risk by ensuring all products meet or exceed brand and industry standards. Rigorous in-house and third-party testing warrants the integrity, durability and performance of all sleep technologies and solutions.

We test fabrics for elongation, stretch, durability and snagging. We also test the internal, individual components of each bed to ensure they meet all safety and compliance standards.

Our Noteworthy Industry Leading Firsts

1950s

The Sertapedic® mattress was introduced in the 1950s with the tagline, “You sleep ON it, not in it.”

1970s

In the 1970s, Serta introduced the very first plusher “Pillow Soft®” mattress to the world, defying popular belief that a firmer mattress is always better.

1980s

In another industry first, Serta introduced a continuous coil innerspring design in the 1980s.

2000s

The beloved Serta Counting Sheep were introduced as the brand icons in 2000, and were inducted into the advertising hall of fame in 2008.

In 2005, Serta became the first brand in the industry to make all of its mattresses meet or exceed the federal flammability standard.

2010s

In 2011, Serta launched its breakthrough iComfort Sleep System.

2020s

A new Endurance Series hospitality lineup makes its debut with innovative technology, and features a new, modern luxury portfolio featuring exclusive 3 Zoned Body Support foam for cool, contouring support and upgraded sleep comfort.
